Dr. Jan Hartmann
Dr. Jan Hartmann is a consultant with Detecon International’s Information Technology practice. He advises companies in the information and communication technology sectors on ICT business and technology strategies. He holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Manchester, and a BSc in Software Engineering from the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam. His professional interests include ICT markets and technologies, Web-based platforms, -applications, and -business models, as well as customer experience strategies.

Dr. Volker Rieger
Dr. Volker Rieger leads the Technology Portfolio Strategy competence group within Detecon and also Detecon’s Center of Excellence on Global Technology Intelligence. He has more than ten years of professional experience in the markets of information and communication technologies. The focus of his recent work has been on innovative business and technology strategies for international clients. Prior to joining Detecon’s Bonn office he was product manager in the mobile communications division of the Bosch Group.
