To be continued: Interview with J. Döring, Siemens Com
Font: - +

Detecon: In your opinion, what happens after successful transformation?

J. Döring: Immediately after successful completion of the transformation, our experience was that three new challenges appeared:

> securing the long-term survival of the implemented topics,

> returning the entire organization to normal as quickly as possible,

> ensuring that all those involved appreciated that a chain of transformation had been put into action. Successful transformation places the organization in a better competitive situation which
- sooner or later - will result in a new challenge. And then the next transformation will be necessary.

Detecon: What advice would you give companies facing a major transformation?

J. Döring: From my point of view the three most important success factors are:

> the strategic direction and the personal engagement of each and every responsible manager is a prerequisite,

> the transformation should be set up and implemented as a project,

> all employees must be involved.

The questions were asked by Jan Stenger, Head of High Tech Industries, and

Beate Hofferbert-Junge, Head of Program Management & Transformation.
