Dr. Eckart Pech
Dr. Eckart Pech has a wealth of international experience in Management and Technology Consulting in the IT, Telecoms and Media industries. In his current position as President and CEO of Detecon, Inc., he is ­responsible for the Americas region. Prior to his current role he was a Managing Partner with Detecon International and served on the company´s Executive Committee. Before joining Detecon Dr. Pech was a Partner in the Consulting firm Diebold with responsibilities for Mobile Operators and ISPs. In addition to that he has been working for Hewlett Packard´s testing division and helped foreign companies in launching investments in China. Dr. Pech has studied Business Administration and Chinese at the University of Bayreuth and the Shanghai International Studies University. He obtained his Phd. in Business Administration at the University of the Armed Forces in Munich. Dr. Pech is a member of the German American Business Council and the Executive Advisory Board of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC). He is also a Young Leader Alumnus of the American Council on Germany.
