An IT landscape comes alive with the integration and ­discontinuation of IT systems. That is why a clearly defined care process is indispensable. If such a process has not been ­established, the data will be obsolete after about six months – and the whole process has to start over again right from the beginning. Everyone who has ever had experience with such project is in unanimous agreement with this. Awareness in the handling of data and a certain routine lead to the success of data map programs in the long term.
