Daniel Henkel works as a Consultant in Detecon‘s Product Innovation group. He advises national and international companies in the telecommunications industry in Innovation Management, Portfolio Strategy, and Product Development. He focuses on market strategies and technical realization of mobile applications. Prior to joining Detecon, Daniel was working for Infineon Technologies North America in the Fiber Optic Research & Development center. He studied Industrial Engineering in Germany and received the Master of Science in Telecommunications at the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA.

Dr. Wolfgang Knospe works as a senior consultant in the division Radio Access and Transport of the Competence Practice Communication Technology. He has acquired broad experience in this field during his years of activities for globally and regionally active mobile network operators. His core competencies cover the strategic, technical, and commercial assessment of classical and modern mobile networks with a focus on dimensioning and network architecture. His current specialty is the creation of a cross-technology tool for the efficient planning of core parameters and of roll-out strategies in relation to business case calculations.

He has has more than 13 years experience in the mobile communications industry and providing advice to international mobile operators, system suppliers and investors. The emphasis of his work is on strategic and technical subjects and covers all phases of business from the licensing process through to commercial network operation, particularly planning, roll-out and optimization, cost modelling and the commercial evaluation of mobile operators and their networks using present and future technologies.
